Exciting New Preserve:

A big thank you to Maria and Charles Burnham, of Essex, MA, for donating 80 acres of woodlands and a small field to MVLT! This land is off of Route 220, in MVLT's Three Brooks Forest Focus Area. It borders on Waterman Brook, and contains state identified high value habitat, a deer wintering area, and inland wading bird and waterfowl habitat. The Waldoboro Sno-crawlers snowmobile trail runs through it. MVLT does not plan any additional trails on the property in the near future, but you are welcome to visit it if you would like to bushwack!
